General FAQs
We’re around 10 minutes from M5 Junction 22, in a rural setting between Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea.
Our Chisel Jersey package is designed exactly for that: an intimate wedding for up to 40 guests, from 3:30pm to 9:30pm, with your choice of feast, grazing table or afternoon tea.
All of the main packages are based on 60 people for the day and 100 in the evening. You can have up to 80 for the day and up to 120 in the evening. (At additional cost). Our intimate Chisel Jersey package is designed for smaller celebrations of up to 40.
Every package includes exclusive use of the venue, a candlelit ceremony, a dedicated wedding planner, your choice of catering, styling and a fully licensed bar. The exact catering and styling included depends on which of our five packages you choose.
We reply to every enquiry within 48 hours, but some email providers file our reply into spam or junk folders, so it’s always worth double-checking there before getting in touch again.
Yes. Every one of our wedding packages includes totally exclusive use of the barn, grounds and lake, so it’s just you and your guests for the day.
Yarlington Barn is Wick Road on the outskirts of the Somerset village of Lympsham on the way to Brean on the coast. We are about 10 minutes from Junction 22 of the M5 between Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea.
Every viewing is arranged by appointment, so we can give you our full attention and talk you through pricing, packages and availability in person. Simply fill in the enquiry form on our Contact page and we’ll reply within 48 hours.

Yes, we offer the conservatory candles package which is magical! As well as Garden Games, Selfie Pod and Giant Love Letters – we can tell you all about them when you come to view!

Earlier start times are available at an additional cost, though by law the venue must close by midnight.
Yes, additional guests can be added to most packages at an extra cost. Just let us know your numbers when you enquire and we’ll talk you through it.

Yes, children are very welcome. As we’re a lakeside venue, we do ask that no more than six children under 18 attend, for everyone’s safety and peace of mind.

Menus & Catering
Yes, our canapé selection changes with the seasons and can be tailored to your preferences. Just let us know you’re considering canapés and we’ll send you the current options to suit your event.
We work with a trusted local team who care about ingredients, provenance and professional service, using seasonal produce to keep every menu feeling elevated but never fussy.
Yes, every menu is available to download as a PDF from our Menus page, so you can see exactly what’s included ahead of your viewing.
Each wedding package pairs with specific menus – our Dabinett package includes the Sumptuous Somerset Hog Roast, for example, while Kingston and Tremlett’s include Afternoon Tea or a Picnic Hamper alongside the hog roast. Full details are on our Packages page.
We offer eight menus to suit every style of wedding, from a relaxed Afternoon Tea and rustic Picnic Hamper to a Traditional or Summer Wedding Breakfast, our popular Sumptuous Somerset Hog Roast, Alternative Evening Food, an Intimate Wedding menu, and Canapés for your drinks reception.
Accommodation & Travel
We are on Wick Road on the outskirts of the village of Lympsham, Somerset BS24 0HA. SatNavs sometimes direct visitors to our neighbours at Hope Farm Cottages instead, so keep going over the railway bridge to find our signage, or use our what3words ///releasing.this.brave for exact directions.

Hope Farm Lodges is our nearest recommendation, less than half a mile away in Lympsham. You can reach them on 01934 750 506 to check availability.
We don’t have on-site accommodation at Yarlington Barn, but there’s an excellent choice of places to stay nearby, from cosy B&Bs to boutique hotels and countryside retreats.
